Hope EFC Youth Ministry

Mission Statement: Our youth ministry exists to bring people to Jesus and MEMBERSHIP in His family, develop them to Christ-like MATURITY, equip them for their MINISTRY in the church and life MISSION in the world, in order to MAGNIFY God’s name.

Hope EFC’s Youth Ministry consists of students in Junior High and Senior High. In the Youth Ministry, our passionate desire is to see students become fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ, who are then able to impact their world for Christ. As we trust God to transform lives, He has done so through the ministries of Youth Worship, Sunday school classes, fellowship groups, special activities, and a dedicated Youth Ministry Staff Team.

Sunday School Classes

After the worship service, there is Sunday school classes conducted from 11:30am to 12:30pm. These classes give opportunities for youth to interact and discuss about issues that are relevant to faith and daily living as a Christian.

Fellowship Groups

Our Junior/Senior High school fellowship meets at the church on Friday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. The fellowship group has Bible studies but also do fun outings. A typical Bible study night is a Bible lesson mixed with fun activities from 7:45pm to 9:15pm. From 9:15pm to 9:45pm the fellowship go out to grab a snack and fellowship with one another until it is time to go home.

Special Activities

The fellowship group plan special activities into their monthly schedule. Some activities in the past include the following: movie nights, sharing a meal together, bowling, and shopping. They are also involved with activities to support Church events such as fundraising and wrapping boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Dedicated Youth Ministry Staff Team

Here at Hope EFC, we are blessed to have godly and gifted adults who volunteer their time to serve as fellowship advisors and Sunday school teachers. Besides teaching the Bible studies and lessons, each team member serves as a model for the youth as individuals who are on a spiritual journey in becoming more like Christ. They are faithful, friendly, and fun to be around.
