Senior Pastor Wanted

Hope Evangelical Free Church is located in the Sunset district of San Francisco, CA. We are seeking an English-speaking senior pastor to provide leadership in the following areas:

• Teaching and Preaching
  • Be the primary teacher for Sunday worship services
  • Align Sunday school teaching ministries
• Vision and Mission
  • Develop and cast church vision
  • Provide prayer leadership
  • Ensure alignment between ministries and activities with our church mission
• Training and Equipping
  • Manage, supervise, and provide leadership to pastoral staff
  • Supportive role in ministry planning
  • Train and equip small group leaders and Sunday school teachers
  • Support and encourage adult workers
• Spiritual Growth and Caring of Individuals
  • Evangelism
  • Challenge and encourage consistent growth
  • Provide counseling and conflict resolution
  • Officiate weddings, funerals
  • Conduct visitations

Requirements

• Master of Divinity degree or equivalent preferred
• Ordained minister
• Five+ years of pastoral experience
• Spiritually gifted in teaching and leadership
• A heart for the lost in the local community
• Experience mentoring lay leaders
• Experience with Chinese and American cultures
