The Ark of Hope Christian Preschool is a private Christian Preschool dedicated to the purpose of providing a loving, caring and nurturing environment. We realize that each child is a unique and special creation of God, endowed with individual gifts, who has a God-planned purpose in life. We shall seek to strengthen each child academically, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually
The hours of operation are from Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
The following holidays are observed: (subject to change)
*New Year's Day *Teachers Work Day (Last Friday of August)
*Martin Luther King Day *Labor Day
*Chinese New Year *Columbus Day
*President's Day *Veteran's Day
*Good Friday *Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday)
*Memorial Day *Christmas Break (one week)
*Independence Day
Admissions
Children between the ages of two and a half (2 1/2) to five years and 11 months old are eligible for our program. Each child must be toilet-trained and in good health. Prior to admission, a physical examination and complete immunization records are required. A personal interview with the parent(s) and the child is also required. The school will not be discriminatory concerning a child's sex, race or creed. Upon admission to the program, a file shall be kept on the child.
Staff and Curriculum
The preschool staff includes a state-licensed director, trained and experienced teachers, teacher's aides, and volunteers, who are dedicated to work with preschool children. The curriculum and program include language development, fine and gross motor development, music appreciation, science exploration, and simple Bible stories with personal application and prayer participation.
Fees and Tuition
Application Fee:
One time fee of $45.00 upon interview.
Enrollment Fee:
A $100.oo fee due at the time of child enrolling into preschool.
Tuition:
Full-time: $930.00
Part-time / 2 full days: $525.00
Part-time / 3 full days: $625.00
(Tuition includes daily breakfast, lunches and snacks and are subject to change)
Deposits: 50% of the monthly tuition amount.
Due three (3) days from position interview. This is non-refundable and will be deducted from the final month's tuition of the school is given a proper 30-day notice of withdrawal from the school.
License
The Ark of Hope preschool is fully licensed by the California State Department of Social Welfare.
We also offer parenting and marriage enrichment, child development, and money management seminars for our families. Please check with the staff for information regarding these offerings.
